Are You Ready to Eat Some Wings and Drink Some Beer?
Last year you chose our Smoked Jalapeno Honey wings as your favorite in the alternative category. Our Governor’s Wings’ came in a close 2nd in the traditional Buffalo style category.
Chad’s BBQ is stoked to announce that we are participating in the 3rd Annual Maryland Chicken Wing and Beer Festival. The event is Saturday, April 16 from 11 am to 7 pm at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. Due to the success of past festivals, this year it is slated for the new, larger venue in Crownsville. The Maryland Chicken Wing and Beer Festival is a family-friendly event, and there will be lots of activities, music, delicious wings, plus beer for the adults!
This year as you walk around sampling wings and beer you can vote for your favorites via text. The winners will be announced that day at 6:30 pm. Last year you chose our Smoked Jalapeno Honey wings as your favorite in the alternative category and our Governor’s Wings’ came in a close 2nd in the traditional Buffalo style category. This year we will be working to retain our Alternative title and hopefully snag that number one slot for Traditional as well!
The Details
The cost of admission is $10 for all people over 12 years old, kiddos under 12 are free. Parking is free. Wings are $1 each, and beers are $2 per 4 oz sample and $5 for a 12 oz pour. You can try your hand at creating your own wing sauce by mixing flavors and sauces to produce your personal tasty version of your favorite treat. But Beware! There will be some unusual ingredients provided, so mix with caution!
This is a family-friendly event with tons of food, music, beer and fun for everyone! Remember to visit our booth and try our delicious wings and vote for us!
