Chad’s BBQ Loves Dogs

At Chad’s BBQ, we love dogs, and we treat them just like family. Speaking of dogs, we encourage you to bring your pup along when you dine with us on the outdoor patio. With the weather cooling down, now is the perfect time of year to explore outdoor dining with (wo)man’s best friend. Hey, a dog’s gotta eat too! In the meantime, let’s discuss our love for dogs in greater detail.

10 Reasons Why We Love Dogs

1. They clean up our messes.

Dog and owner

Who needs a vacuum cleaner when you have a dog sitting at your feet? With just a quick whistle, your doggo is always there to clean up a mess, big or small. No questions asked.

2. They are loyal exercise partners.

If you own a dog, you know how excited they get when you grab the leash and ask if they want to go for a walk. They’re always up for a pleasant stroll around the park. Overall, it’s a great daily exercise to keep both of you happy and healthy.

3. They’re always excited to see you.

After a long day at work, or even after a few short minutes, dogs are always the first to greet you with wagging tails and kisses. Besides, their joy and enthusiasm can turn around even the worst of days.

4. Protection.

Early on in their lives, dogs innately learn to watch out for danger and protect their owners. They look out the windows, bark when someone comes to the door, and growl if they suspect that someone is a threat.

5. Company.

The company you keep is a reflection of you, and dogs make the best company of all. You’re never alone when you have a pup, and they make the home feel safe and comfortable.

6. Unconditional love.

Dogs are the sincerest form of unconditional love. They don’t care what you wear, where you live, or how much money you have, all they want to do is love you.

7. Decreased stress.

Daily stress is no match for a dog owner. In fact, studies suggest that owning pets is associated with reducing your risk of heart disease. Additionally, dog owners are less likely to suffer from depression than those without pets.

8. They make us laugh.

Dogs are rambunctious, clumsy, and silly, and we can’t help but get a laugh from their quirky behavior. Whether they’re sticking their head and tongue out of the car window or watching TV like a human, they are fantastic entertainment.

9. They make the best nap partners.

Sleeping alone is impossible when you have a dog. Dogs love to snuggle, and they like to put their head in your lap. Not to mention, they’ll jump right up on the couch or bed alongside you and make themselves comfortable.

10. They make us incredibly happy.

Ultimately, dogs can make us better people, and they enhance our lives every day. Their love and happiness are infectious, and we wouldn’t want to go through life without them.

“Dogs have a way of finding the people who need them and filling a space we didn’t even know we had.”
